NOCLMC Mission

The Northwest Ohio Center for Labor-Management Cooperation seeks to improve the labor-management climate in Northwest Ohio, to have a positive impact on economic development, and to respond to the needs of labor and manegement by:

• Improving the image of, and the relationships between, labor and management by promoting mutual respect.
• Assisting in the attraction of new jobs and promoting job retention by providing training, education and technical assistance for joint union-management endeavors to existing facilities and thereby helping these facilities be more competitive.
• Providing an atmosphere which promotes a cooperative work environment through education, research, and joint endeavors between unions and employers.

The Northwest Ohio Center for Labor-Management Cooperation was opened in 1986. It is partially funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Development, Ohio Labor/Management Cooperation Program.

The Center is part of this state-wide commitment to improve labor-management relations and its impact on job creation and job retention.
